About the Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania Area
Bethlehem  Bethlehem lies in the center of the Lehigh Valley. The Valley embraces a trio of cities (Bethlehem, Allentown and Easton) within two counties, Lehigh and Northampton Counties. There are three sections of the city, North Bethlehem, South Bethlehem and West Bethlehem.
Bethlehem was the home of Bethlehem Steel, founded in 1857. Today, the old Bethlehem Steel buildings are being converted to eating and shopping areas, condos, an the Sands Casino is located in part of the old building. A lovely River Walk and park areas are now part of the Bethlehem Steel Complex. The River Walk has proven great for family outings and community events.
Colleges and Universities in Bethlehem:
Bethlehem is home to two institutes of higher education. Lehigh University, located on South Mountain on the city’s South Side, the university was ranked #35 U.S. News & World Reports 2010 ratings of America’s best colleges. Moravian College, located in the center city area, is a small, highly respected liberal arts college. Besides undergraduate programs, the college also includes the Moravian Theological Seminary, a graduate school. Northampton Community College is also located in neighboring Bethlehem Township.
The city is famous for it’s annual Musikfest, a largely free, ten-day music festival that drawls over a million people to the city each August. Other festivals include the Celtic Classic, Southside Film Festival, the North East Art Rock Festival, or NEARFfest, a 3-day Progressive rock music event to name a few.

Buying a house involves a lot of paperwork. There can be several pages to the contract itself, plus the various addendum and contingencies. If you apply for a loan, there will be another stack of documents at the closing table. Although your real estate agent reviews the transaction, it is extremely important that you understand the papers you are signing.
If a dispute arises, the outcome will be governed by how the contracts actually read, not what you thought your real estate agent told you when you signed them. To avoid confusion, it is a good idea to pick up copies of the purchase agreements and closing papers ahead of time. This will allow you to read them at your leisure, without the pressure of several people waiting for you to read everything at the closing. Don't hesitate ask questions if you don't understand something or if the language is ambiguous or confusing.
